Today we point the Artist Spotlight to Joel Rogier, Javi Ojeda, & Janelle Pierce in H.M.S. Pinafore! Performances on November 8th & 10th at Kirkwood Performing Arts Center!Baritone Joel Rogier has been noted in Stage Left Blog for his "fine voice and comic timing," and Pop Life STL recently praised his "robust and confident demeanor." Comfortable in a wide variety of styles, he is dedicated to sharing classical singing with audiences of all ages. A dedicated music student at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Javi Ojeda is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in music. Under the guidance of Dr. Marc Schapman, Javi has honed his vocal skills over the past two years. To further his musical development, Javi has also had the opportunity to study voice in Europe, gaining valuable international experience.Janelle Pierce is a conductor, composer, lyricist, arranger, vocalist, and educator of music.
