From the Queen of the Night's fiery arias to the enchanting harmonies of her three Ladies, our Die Zauberflöte is full of magic! Meet the talented singers who will weave this spellbinding world in our latest spotlight.Maggie Kinabrew is an emerging artist whose “glittering soprano” (San Francisco Classical Voice) brings “fervor and precision” (San Francisco Chronicle) to her performances. She was named a semifinalist in the 2024 Young Concert Artists Susan Wadsworth International Auditions. Maggie is a currently Cornelia T. Bailey Apprentice Artist at Palm Beach Opera, and has also trained at the Merola Opera Program and the Wolf Trap Opera Studio Program. Soprano Karen Kanakis is known for her powerful voice and dramatic flair. Critics have called her singing “strong and smoothly superb,” “drop-dead gorgeous,” and “engaging,” said she “lights up the stage… timing and expressions were priceless,” and “her voice and her stage presence are a delight.”Don't miss Die Zauberflöte by W.A.
