About our classes:
Beginner 1: Students will learn to dance the basic figures of Single-Time Swing (Jitterbug) in a two-hand hold, including the basic step, basic underarm turns, and Triple-Time (East Coast) variations. This class is appropriate for absolute beginners through swing dancers looking to solidify their basic movements.
Beginner 2: Students will learn underarm turn variations, basic wraps, and rotations in a two-hand and close hold. This class is appropriate for students who have completed the Beginner 1 class or who have taken introductory swing classes.
Intermediate: Students will learn basic dips and more advanced wraps and turns. This class is appropriate for students who have competed the Beginner 2 class, or for current swing dancers looking to spice up their repertoire.
Private Lessons: Private instruction is available for students seeking more personal attention as well as for more advanced dancers.

Bronze: $30/person, includes three group classes of any level
Bronze+: $75/person or $105/couple, includes three group classes of any level, and a private lesson to solidify material covered in group class.
Silver: $90/person or $140/couple, includes five group classes of any level, and a private lesson to solidify material covered in group class.
Gold: $105/person or $170/couple, includes 7 group classes, and a private lesson to solidify material covered in group class.
About our teachers:
Frank and Amanda are a Professional Ballroom couple based in St Louis. Amanda discovered Ballroom Dance after completing a degree in Musical Theatre, while Frank began teaching while still in college. Since they began teaching professionally, they have taught over ten thousand lessons and helped hundreds of people learn to dance. They have been featured in hundreds of performances, competed professionally, trained with world and national champions and finalists, and danced all over the world. They are happy to bring their breadth of experience to this series of classes exclusively for patrons of the Winter Opera!
