Fall Concert Series: An Enchanting Afternoon

Winter Opera St. Louis presents a Fall Concert Series in our new home at Kirkwood Performing Arts Center!

Join us for an afternoon of Golden Age Broadway, light opera, and operetta centered on themes of love. Come listen to Winter Opera Artists during an open house of the new, state-of-the-art Kirkwood Performing Arts Center. Featured Winter Opera Artists for this performance will include baritone Jacob Lassetter, soprano Karen Kanakis, and mezzo-soprano Sarah Pistorius. We are also delighted to have the Zafira Quartet join us at the concert. This string quartet includes members who regularly perform in the orchestra for our opera productions. Zafira Quartet’s members include violinists Holly Huelskamp, Sarah Browdy, violist Amy Greenhalgh, and cellist Ranya Iqbal.

Take a tour of the facilities, enjoy a glass of wine in the new atmosphere, and celebrate the opening of this brand new space. This series will be offered in a safe, socially-distanced environment. Please take note of the following precautions we are taking for these events:

• All patrons and staff are required to wear masks when entering, exiting, and moving throughout the facility.
• All patrons and staff will have temperatures checked when entering KPAC.
• Tables and seating for patrons will be spaced 6-8 feet apart, to ensure safe, social-distancing.
• Tours will be capped at 15 participants per tour.
• Musicians will be performing from the staircase and distanced at least 20 feet away from patrons.

Tickets for event are $25. Drinks are available to purchase at event. Doors open an hour before concert at 2 PM.

All proceeds to benefit Winter Opera’s Fourteenth Season.
